If you had three good days away from the demands of daily leadership, what would you work on?
You don’t need more good ideas.
You need more time and space with the ideas you already have.
Three Good Days is an open studio for meaningful work.
Imagine leaving with:
Renewed momentum on a project.
Fresh clarity around a difficult decision.
Meaningful progress on an essential plan.
New relationships with thoughtful peers.
Before we build Three Good Days, we need your input.
Read on, Friend.
What is Three Good Days?
It’s an open studio designed for leaders who need space to move something important forward.
Here’s the current concept:
A three-day in-person gathering in a comfortable and inspiring setting
12-16 participants + 2 facilitators
A mix of focused work, peer support, structured reflection, and social connection
A cohort of leaders from mission-driven orgs (e.g., libraries, nonprofits, social innovators, civil servants, etc.)
A unique experience that prioritizes depth over scale
Why Three Good Days?
Three days is long enough to get beyond the daily noise and short enough to fit into a busy life.
It's enough time to think deeply, make meaningful progress, and build relationships with thoughtful peers.
Three Good Days invites leaders from libraries, nonprofits, municipalities, educational organizations, and other mission-driven organizations who have something important they want to move forward.
The goal isn't to step away from your work. It is to give your most important work the time and attention it needs.
What moves meaningful work forward?
Space
Important work needs room. Create distance from day-to-day interruptions and obligations.
Progress
Important work needs momentum. Focus attention and effort on what matters most.
Generosity
Important work needs community. Benefit from others’ experiences and perspectives.
What is the “thing” sitting on your desk, in your notebook, or at the back of your mind that deserves more attention than it’s getting?
What makes Three Good Days different?
Not a conference.
Not a training workshop.
Not a leadership retreat.
It is an open studio for meaningful work.
Bring something important. Leave with a way forward.
